In my choir class, we do Feature Nights where we pick a song around 2 minutes long and sing it on stage. Tonight is the Christmas Feature Night, and I've got a song... And I've never sang a solo before! Like all by myself on stage with no one else to back me up and everybody staring at me... (I've got a fear of being up in front of people ) We practiced today and yesterday; yesterday I was so frightened I couldn't even make it to the chorus of the song, and today I hicuped on the highest note of the piece, and my hands were shaking so much I couldn't hardly hold the microphone. Fortunatly, everybody in class is really friendly and encouraging, plus they all understand what it's like to be up on stage. Well, wish me luck! (God knows I'll need it) I'll tell you all how it goes!
